Cancellation Policy

At the Arctic Divide, we understand how plans in life can be quickly interrupted by unexpected situations. This goes for travel plans as well! We are a very busy and quickly booked hotel, often with waiting lists.

We do practice some flexibility in our cancellation policy; situation dependant. However, we do have a cancellation policy in order to protect our business revenue and also ensure that rooms are available when needed for those on the waiting lists!

All charges for cancellation rates will be charged to the credit card on file that was used to hold the room.

Short Term/One night bookings/ or between October 1 to February end.

Our cancellation policy is 24 hours notice for basic short-term bookings. We reserve the right to charge the full room rate should the room not be cancelled within 24 hours.
This will give guests plenty of opportunity to reach us by phone or email prior to heading down our highway where there is no cell service.


Long Term or Multiroom Bookings/or between March 1 to September end
Certain types of bookings may also require a deposit; multi day bookings or longer bookings during our busy season. The deposit is non refundable. Between the months of March to October, the cancellation for longer term bookings and multiroom bookings is 72 hours notice. We reserve the right to charge full room rate. There is also flexibility- should the rooms be sold to other guests then we will not charge for those rooms. Between November to February, cancellation policy is 48 hours for larger bookings.

Arrive to Dease Lake early and want to keep on driving?

Many times, our area is soooo lovely that drivers arrive early and want to catch more of the long lit days, and continue to the next location! Usually you do not realize this within 24 hours to cancel! Our policy in this situation is to only charge you the full room rate if the room is not sold to another guest. Most often we have drive throughs and waiting lists in the summer and can fill the room, however if not, you will be charged the full room rate.
